It also includes private lands with Conservation Easements owned by IDNR. NATURAL AREAS THAT ARE NOT OWNED NOR MANAGED BY DNR ARE ADDED AS DATA IS AVAILABLE. IT IS BY NO MEANS A COMPLETE AND COMPREHENSIVE DATASET FOR ALL SUCH AREAS IN THE STATE. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Please note that a value of "OPEN PER REGULATIONS" in the ACCESS field indicates that the property is open to the public but access and use may be limited by rules and regulations as determined by the managing agencies. A value of "RESTRICTED" indicates public access is severly limited or restricted. A value of "CLOSED" indicates the area is not open to the public.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The Indiana Natural Heritage Data Center Managed Area Database is a digital, geospatial file containing information on Indiana's significant protected natural areas.
